The Millennial Mastermind Podcast

If you are an entrepreneurial millennial looking for tools, tactics, and inspiration to take your business and your life to the next level, this is the show for you. Brad Mulvey created this podcast as a student of life, looking to build a foundation of knowledge that would support the dreams of his audience and himself. In Napoleon Hill’s timeless classic Think and Grow Rich, he defines a mastermind group as, "the Coordination of knowledge and effort between two or more people, for the attainment of a definite purpose." In this podcast, that coordination is created between you, our amazing guests, and Brad. Our definite purpose is achieving extraordinary results in your business and in your life. Welcome to the Millennial Mastermind. Following mentorship from trailblazers like Tim Ferris, Tony Robbins, Zig Ziglar, Grant Cardone, John Lee Dumas, Pat Flynn, Gary Vaynerchuk, Lewis Howes, Simon Sinek, Geoff Woods, and more!

Some folks might not advise a 20-something-year-old to quit a VP position at powerhouse consumer packaged goods company Reckitt Benckiser, owner of household brands like Lysol, Air Wick, Mucinex and many more you would know, to gamble on their own entrepreneurial venture. Some folks might call that a "bad plan".  But those folks clearly do not know Dionna McPhatter, the Co-Founder and Managing Partner of BLKBOX, a Millennial marketing agency in NYC.

You see, Dionna, along with her business partner Keenan Beasley, had identified a very tangible opportunity and carefully calculated that it had a big enough value proposition to leave their Fortune 500 careers in the rearview mirror.  Now seeing the rapid success of BLKBOX, many folks might call this a "good plan".  In this week's episode, I had the opportunity to discuss the strategies, practices and mindset Dionna used to make her dream a reality.

In this conversation, Dionna walks us through the key principles she learned at West Point that helped her achieve success in the business world, the true meaning and importance of "personal branding", how to identify and evaluate opportunities, along with much, much more.  To connect with Dionna or learn more about BLKBOX, you can follow her on Twitter @dphat23 or visit www.weareblkbox.com

I hope you enjoy my conversation with the very smart and undeniably inspirational Dionna McPhatter!
