Today's show is a solo episode where I nerd out on the concept of motivation.

When motivation is framed up as some fleeting emotion that is hard to capture, it can be extremely difficult to maintain. So today I re-frame motivation as momentum and talk about how you can leverage accountability to maintain momentum and motivation.

Enjoy!

In this episode, I am joined by a guest whose teachings and strategies impact the lives of hundreds of thousands (if not millions) of people all around the world. We are chatting with entrepreneur, best-selling author, keynote speaker, podcast superstar, and overall inspiration, Hal Elrod.

I had the opportunity to meet Hal at one of his live events, the Quantum Leap Mastermind, last year and was blown away by his story and his presence within the room.

For those of you who haven't heard of Hal, he is the author of one of the bestselling books on Amazon, The Miracle Morning—which has been translated into 27 languages, has over 2,000 five-star Amazon reviews and is practiced daily by over 500,000 people in more than 70 countries.

When Hal was 20, he actually died in a head-on car crash with a drunk driver, where his heart stopped for 6 full minutes. But that sure as heck didn't stop him.

Fast forward a few years and Hal is now the host of the highly acclaimed Achieve Your Goals podcast, creator of the Best Year Ever Blueprint (Live Event) and bestselling author of ten books in The Miracle Morning book series.

Then, in November of 2016, hardship struck again when Hal's kidneys, lungs, and heart nearly failed, which led to his being diagnosed with a very rare, very aggressive form of leukemia. One year later, after the hardest year of his life, I am thrilled to say that Hal is now cancer free and more inspiring than ever!

In this episode, Hal shares how we can master our emotions to live extraordinarily happy and successful lives.
